1. I can play all my favorite Nintendo games at house or on the go

It's the perfect console for my kind of work, for something. If I'm reviewing the new Zelda, I can play it at house, at the office, or on a journey. That's exceptionally practical for exactly what I do, but it's sure to appeal to great deals of other individuals, too. Whether it's adequate of a draw to make the Switch a big hit remains to be seen, but I'm anticipating it.

2. Game cartridges!

Cartridges make method more sense for a portable console than disc-based media. They're quick, long lasting, and you don't need to install the games onto the system itself-- which is a good idea because it's only got 32 gigs of storage area. Besides, these aren't like old-school NES cartridges. You will not have to blow on them to make them work.

3. The Joy-Con controllers

4. It's something different from the PS4 and Xbox One

As much as I want to get on Nintendo's case for putting out console after console that relies on a main trick, I'm still thankful the Switch isn't simply another PS4 or Xbox One. It's special and, if all works out, that suggests we'll get lots of enjoyable, eccentric games that aren't simply rehashes of the games we use Sony or Microsoft systems.

5. The games!

Speaking of games, this is the top reason I'm delighted for the Switch. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild suffices to set my buzz to 11, but there's also Splatoon 2, Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey and who knows what else in the pipeline. I'm hoping for a new Metroid.
